Cyclades is the most famous island group in Aegean Sea. The name refers to the formation they make, circle. In English, Cyclades means “circular islands”. According to the myth, Poseidon turned the nymphs into islands. These are the classic Greek islands of countless posters, films and postcards: White-washed villages, sugar-cube houses, blue domed churches.
